Austin Metropolitan Convertible 1957
The photograph of this stunning duo-tone, two-seater Austin Metropolitan Convertible was taken in 1957 and was designed for the American and Canadian markets in 1954.
Although the American Nash company was the pioneer behind the car, the cars were assembled by Austin at the Longbridge Factory. The Metropolitan was last built in 1961 and seen as a novelty in the UK as the car was never badged as an Austin.
