Order processing times
Please note that order processing times are calculated as the time taken from an order being placed and confirmed, to it being despatched. Order processing time excludes time taken for delivery.
Orders are confirmed by email and we aim to process orders within the timescales laid out below (excluding weekends and holidays)
• Heritage Certificates, Technical Specifications and Document Wallets within 28 days
• Tax disc holders and personalised tax discs and keyrings within 14 days
• Art Prints – Unframed prints and rolled canvas within 5 days and framed prints and stretched/framed canvas within 10 days
• All other Gift Shop items within 7 days
Where items are despatched from our Gift Shop we will send confirmation of despatch by email. Some orders are despatched directly from our partners and for those items, you may not receive a despatch confirmation email. Please rest assured that orders will be processed in line with the timescales above, before being despatched using the postal service displayed at the checkout.
Domestic Shipping
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Most items are despatched using Royal Mail first class postal services with larger items despatched using an appropriate alternative.
Next Day delivery is available on request depending on stock levels at the time of your order. Please call the Gift Shop on 01926 645045 for further details.

When transporting goods across international borders, shipments may be subject to duties and taxes as determined by customs in the destination country.
Who is Responsible for Payment?
The payment of duties and taxes is the responsibility of the receiver. Please check local duty and tax implications before placing your order.
How do I check the status of my order?
If you haven’t received your order then please contact us by emailing giftshop@britishmotormuseum.co.uk with your name and the order number that was included in your order confirmation email, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returned goods with a receipt, up to 28 days from the date of purchase, if the item is unused and in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping is at the customers cost and upon receipt and inspection of the returned goods we will refund the full order amount minus the original shipping costs. Please return items to:

Please note:
Regrettably, we are not able to exchange:
Video, DVD, audio, multimedia or software products if the product seal has been broken; or
Goods made to your specifications or personalisation e.g. Heritage Certificates, tax discs, key rings, special event tickets or museum admission tickets.
If a product is faulty and is returned with proof of purchase, we will be happy to exchange or refund.
Damaged items
If your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us, as soon as possible, at shop@britishmotormuseum.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. Issues will be addressed on a case-by-case basis but we will always try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
